|Our board President is long-time resident of neighboring Hudson. Ernie joined the board in 2006 and his steady leadership finds the ARC today in very secure financial position. Now retired, he was a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) with over 40 years’ experience in the addictions field. Ernie is very active in other civic affairs and public service.

|Now semi-retired, Dickie spent his career in the tele-communications field as a licensed & certified communications tech. A graduate of local Hudson Catholic High School he is an active participant in many community services from little league baseball thru men’s softball. As a fixture in the community, Dickie is a go to guy for getting it done!

|A career in the local real estate/construction industry with a B.S. in Urban Studies from Worcester State University (WSU), Gary is now finishing a Masters’ of Science in their Nonprofit Management Program. A local resident most his life, he seeks to raise social capital and encourage social justice. Gary is also a volunteer in the Urban Studies, Intergenerational Urban Institute and remains available as an adult student mentor at WSU.

|Julie is our newest member and an MSW, L.I.C.S.W. She joined the board as an officer in 2016. Mrs. McLucas, has more than 20 years of clinical social work and therapy experience across fields including oncology, other healthcare, children/family, and addiction recovery. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College.

|After attending Worcester State University, Larry owned and operated his own transportation business for several years. Coming off the road 20 years ago Larry entered the building/construction material sales industry. He is presently General Manager for one of the area’s largest septic installer services and sales companies.

|Jim is a former elected official in the Town of Hudson. Past Executive Director of the American Lung Assoc. of Central Mass for 24 years. After which he owned and operated a successful Subway franchise for 18 years, retiring several years ago. Jim is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelors in Public Health Education.

|A lifelong Marlborough resident, and local attorney, Sem has maintained a law practice on Main Street for over 30 years. Presently he serves the community as Chairman of the Board – Marlborough Savings Bank. Sem was active for many years coaching local high school football teams. Sem also has served on various other local Boards and Charities.

|A graduate of Bryant College, Suzanne’s comprehensive 20 years of experience, coupled with her education, have honed her skills well to serve as VP, Director of Human Resources for Marlborough Savings Bank. A passion for health and wellness lead Suzanne to collaborate with Mass Bankers Association and Blue Cross Blue Shield, in establishing a Wellness Committee at Marlborough Savings Bank.

|Rainey is a founding member of the ARC and has been a local resident for almost 50 years. As a master licensed electrician trained at N.E Institute for Technology he has owned and operated “Rainey Electric” for 23 years. He serves as the ARC historian keeping the board constantly aware of our humble beginnings.
|Joan Simoneau, |
|A member of the ARC Board for over 20 years, Joan was the wife of an ARC founder, Roland Simoneau, now deceased. Joan is a valuable and notable local fundraiser and human service volunteer. She also serves on the committee for the “Evening of Giving” to benefit the local homeless shelter, “Roland’s House.” As a local reporter for two weekly newspapers Joan has access to most any office in the City.
