Honor/Memorial Gifts

Pay tribute to the memory of a family member, neighbor or friend with a donation to the ARC.  Or, celebrate a milestone on their recovery journey, the first, fifth or tenth year of sobriety, for example, with a gift to the ARC to recognize their hard work and achievement.

Ways to Give

ANNUAL FUND

Donations to the ARC’s Annual Fund support operations, such as staff and volunteer training, IT and communications, the 24/7 Helpline, office equipment and supplies, including the refreshments provided for daily meetings.

Donations can be made on-line using your Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express. You may also mail your check, made payable to the Addictions Referral Center, Inc. to the address below.

IN KIND CONTRIBUTIONS

The ARC welcomes in-kind donations of office supplies such as pens, printer paper and file folders, as well as coffee, tea, creamer, napkins and cups for on-site group meeting attendees.

 

FUNDRAISING/FRIENDRAISING EVENTS

The ARC hosts an annual Golf Tournament in August and a Comedy Night in February. Support these events through your ticket/table or golf foursome purchases. In addition, volunteers are always welcome to serve on event planning committees, assisting with marketing, ticket sales, corporate sponsorships and raffle donations, registration, and day of event support.napkins and cups for on-site group meeting attendees.

 

WORKPLACE GIVING

Does your company match employee donations to 501 c 3 organizations like the ARC? Typically matching gift programs are administered through a company’s Human Resources Department. Your ARC contribution may be doubled or even tripled depending on your company’s policy. All it takes is a call or e-mail to your HR department to notify them of your ARC donation to begin the process of getting the match.

 

PLANNED GIVING

Ensure our long-term sustainability. Consider naming the ARC as a beneficiary of your IRA or life insurance policy. Or, perhaps you would prefer to leave a bequest to the ARC in your will. As with any financial matters, please consult your attorney or tax advisor to see which options may be most advantageous in your particular estate plan.

 

 


Donations to the ARC made in Honor of Scott J. Tobin

Scott J. Tobin, 22, passed away at home on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Scott was a victim of the opiate epidemic, struggling for the past 2 years to overcome the disease of addiction.

Scott was the was the son of Gary and Nancy (Vartanian) Tobin. He is survived by his loving sister, Melissa C. Tobin of Hudson; his grandmother Sonia J. Vartanian of Newton, MA; his aunt and uncle Joyce and David Nuzzi of Waltham, MA; his aunt and uncle Carol and Phil Lakin of Spring Hill, FL; his cousin and godson, Michael Nuzzi; and close family friend, Patty Flannery. He is the grandson of the late Haig Vartanian of Newton.

The ARC is grateful for donations made in Scott’s memory.
